We own and develop whole properties, whereas most of our competitors lease a portion of a building or only manage the location on behalf of a third-party owner. The result is that we control our product and can therefore offer our customers a consistent, high-quality product at all of our locations.

3. Earthquake and building code compliant

All properties we have purchased are compliant with Japan’s building code by way of their construction after 1981, or by way of seismic evaluation and reinforcement where necessary. Also, without exception, all of our locations are compliant with rental-storage construction and fire code. Our compliance with earthquake, construction and fire code is evidence of our commitment to delivering a safe and secure product and our obligation to society.
